 Wild Deodorant has really kicked it up a notch with their new, limited edition scent 'Thunderstorm' - For me, it is fresh and crisp and it definitely smells like a rainstorm. It also gives off a woody oaky smell for me. When I looked it up, it proclaims there is also a green leaf note (which I may have picked up as the smell of wet grass in the rain?) and it is described as exhilarating and invigorating. All of that from a natural stick of deodorant that is vegan, cruelty free and even uses bamboo pulp instead of wood as it grows faster. 

 I am impressed with the scent and the use- I have tried a few natural deodorants before and they just seem to have been non-existent- all show and no performance. But, I have been using wild for a few weeks now and I am really impressed! 

Wild use natural ingredients, like coconut oil and tapioca starch, to stop body odour- avoiding synthetic chemicals found in regular antiperspirants. 

I received a pink metallic case (it is cute and sleek) and two scents- the thunderstorm and a cotton fresh scent I also adored and think it will be perfect for spring. I'd be interested to see how long this lasts, you can store your refills in a cool dry place for up to 12 months. I am really happy it is plastic free. As with anything, we can never be fully sure where our aerosols are being recycled and they are not the best for the earth, even being metal. However, the Wild case uses a similar amount of metal as one regular bottle would- and last a much longer time!

I wonder if Wild should sell case bags, as this would prolong the life of the cases out in the wild (as it were). I would definitely get a bag so it could be protected in my handbag or when travelling.

I love how easy it was to put a cartridge in- I am terrible at reading instructions and did just fine, it was fun to slot it in and wind it up! One 'con' is that you seem to have to twist one full half turn which pushes quite a lot of deodorant up- I feel like this was worse at the start as it was very high around the edges., but will get better in time- you don't have to twist every time (by any means!) and so, you can control how much you are using more easily. 

The prices seem good, I like the bundle offers- The Thunderstorm starter kit looks like a great place to start, and you can get your case engraved! Not only do Wild do Cases and Refills - they have branched out into Shampoo Bars and Soaps. 

I recently tried a mini pack and find them really useful for just popping in my handbag or car.
