The Annual 'Arundel Festival' is fast approaching and this year is extra special as they will be celebrating their 40th year. A magical 10 day event with Free live music on the Jubilee Garden Stage, A wonderful Gallery Trail, Shakespeare play at the Arundel Castle as well as Free street theatre and many events all over the town.

Upon arriving in the town of Arundel you will quickly notice the lack of chain stores, we pride ourselves on our local produce and unique boutiques, so please take the time to wonder up the high street and down Tarrant Street to see some fantastic shopping options.

Fancy Staying Over?

Arden House B&B have a limited number of rooms left and offer a fresh and healthy vegan breakfast option!  They are also very central (on Queens Lane near the Co-operative Shop)

Bagels and Coffee on the High Street offer a great selection of Vegan Bagels
 (flavours: plain, sesame, everything-black and white sesame and poppy seeds, onion) and you can have the following toppings:
-Hummus 
-Tomato 
-Cucumber 
-Rocket 
-Sea salt 
They also serve Soy and Almond milk in their hot coffee/tea and Iced coffee!

Pallant of Arundel stock a selection of Vegan cakes from their cake suppliers - A Taste of Dreams from Glynde East Sussex. There is another vegan biscuit and of course a wide range of olives, antipasto, etc also available.
Pallant of Arundel also sell a range of salads and soups from Sussex based "Ginger's Kitchen", some of which are also vegan. Pop in to have a look at their selection on the day!

The Loft (on Tarrant Street) has a great selection of Vegan options on it's menu- there are also Veggie options that can be made vegan so please inform your server of your dietary requirements. My personal Favourite is their Spanish Chickpea and Almond Stew (served 9:30am-3pm). This meal includes Chickpea, flaked almond, peppers, tomato, kale and giant garlic rosemary croutons.

Roly's Fudge Pantry has a NEW selection of Dairy Free Vegan fudge flavours,  I have tried and bought them both (more flavours to come!) and they are devine!

Evening Meal






A Burger is the perfect option for an evening's meal and The Burger Shop Co on Arundel High Street has just what you need in its Vegabond Burger.

Treat yourself to skin-on-fries or Sweet potato fries, onion straws or a side salad and choose from one of the many soft and alcoholic drinks!

  1. Awesome choice of places. GOOD to see that even locally we have so many great options. That's amazing! I'm defo going to go to the little BAGEL & COFFEE SHOP and try the Almond Latte as I don't do soya anything. I may even treat myself to a vegan bagel :-) Ps. It would be great to see places where dogs are allowed too. :-)
