Redhill Confetti Review - From recycled paper to vegan inks, and even wildseed in their paper, this Etsy shop has it all!
Hello again! In light of the strange times, we have put it out there to support Vegan businesses during their time of need. If you own a fully Vegan business and would like some free editorial, please get in touch!
In this blog, we're taking a look at some of the amazing, unique and thoughtful items Redhill Confetti offer on their Etsy store.
April to August is usually their busy wedding time, alas, this is not the case at the moment as weddings go on hold and so Redhill Confetti have adapted. Owner, Simone, has made perfect little craft kits for you to get your craft on while helping the national effort and staying at home!
She said, "I grow my own petal confetti from plants that aren't fed any animal byproducts, I make cards from recycled paper and vegan inks, and upcycle fabrics into bags and clothing."

There are a selection of craft kits available, but they're selling fast, so be quick! The
Garlands are available as hearts or butterflies, and the rainbow kit below comes with everything you need to make this wonderful piece. Redhill Confetti says,
"There are no set 'instructions', however we encourage self expression and allowing the maker to use their imagination as to how they use the contents."

Just today (Friday!), they have posted three new kits available for crafting fun!

You can buy these kits with or without glue, so if you don't have any available at home, there is no need to go out. We asked owner Simone about her vegan friendly glue and products,
"...It's made with synthetic resins and plant enzymes. Some of the very cheap glue that still comes out of the far east is still derived from animal bones.
Also a lot of inks used for crafts have either beeswax or gelatine in to help it solidify on paper, the inks [Redhill Confetti] use are soya wax. They are a bit more cost wise and also take longer to dry, but I feel it's worth it (they also give a stronger pigment colour so they look nicer!) "

If craft kits aren't your thing, Redhill Confetti also offer sending a smile in the post- these use vegan inks and have Bee Friendly wild seed hearts in them to plant after! These can be sent to yourself or a friend, straight from the seller.
They also offer a selection of heart, star or butterfly wildseed or Forget me not & Poppy seed confetti- we think these are just adorable! They are great for any occasion, and also a lovely gift!
If you are looking to send a little love, to a few people, why not grab a pack of their handmade note cards, like these printed Fox cards.
