Christmas 2022- The Vegan Gift and Home Décor Guide to Etsy

Well, that's it. Spooky season is over! The pumpkin is starting to droop, my ghost nail art actually looks dead and I can FINALLY mention the 'C' word. It's Christmas! Just kidding, it's not yet- but , if you are like me, you'll certainly be starting to think about and gather Christmas present ideas for loved ones. 

It can be a daunting task, especially if you are wanting to buy vegan friendly, earth-conscious and unique gifts. Luckily, I am here to help! This is my 5^th year making the Etsy Christmas gift guide, and I am so excited to show you some of the amazing, vegan-friendly gifts available on Etsy right now.

As well as gifts, Etsy offers a wide selection of beautiful home décor and so, this blog also contains ideas to make your home extra Christmassy! Even better, the items featured for the home can also double as a gift.

As well as vegan friendly items, I have also tried to showcase local, eco friendly small businesses too- plus, when you order from Etsy, they offset carbon emissions from delivery and packaging.

BugsTogs - The gift that keeps on giving- Pet Bandanas!! Suitable for cats and dogs and available in a variety of sizes- these bandanas can either slip though the collar or be tied around your pet. Shop owner, Annie, also offers bow ties in a huge array of patterns for the extra cute factor. Check out her pics below of her dogs, Basil and Huxley sporting these Christmas themed bandanas.

Pattons Crafts

As you can see, Santa will have a Very Vegan Christmas in the Vegan Prose household, thanks to Claire at Pattons Crafts. These awesome, personalised treat boards are super cute, well made and are perfect to bring the whole family together. It offers a space for your favourite cookie, a snack for reindeer and a drink. The Christmas Eve Treat Board is plain on the other side, so can be used throughout the year! The board comes in a beautiful Christmas themed box which is PERFECT for gift giving! It was also a really quick turn around to be made and sent, which is not always the case with personalised items.

The board can be personalised with a few names or the 'Family Name', (eg "The Hendersons") and is bright and festive. It is well worded with 'our' favourite cookie and 'If you're hungry' – I like this, less forceful then other boards available, lets give Santa the option! The shop has a whole host of cute ideas and gifts, including reindeer food, mugs, tins, tea-towels and loads more! 

You can also purchase a beautiful reusable Glass Milk Bottle for 'Santa's Milk'- in this case...coconut milk! The bottle is 250ml and comes in a cute carton, with a lid for when the kids go to bed (it's the little things :P) It also comes with one of those handy crocodile clips to close the box which is mega useful in the kitchen to store recipes or hold notes!

Socks! For Christmas! I know, I just thought of it, maybe I should trademark it? :P 

OK, so socks has been done- but SUPER CUTE socks with rats enjoying coffee? Nope, that is new to me. These adorable socks are the PERFECT gift for animal and coffee lovers. They also have the shops name on, which just gives great vibes of 'Shop Small' too!

The vibrant red gives a great festive feel and, I love that the rat is also a glasses wearer! 

The cuteness doesn't stop there, shop-owner, Aysegul,  has a huge selection of novelty socks, including some rather stunning musical note socks. BUT, anyone who has read one of my blogs before knows how obsessed I am with coffee, and so their amazing socks below are just PERFECT. Pictured below are brown and black pairs of 'Cafe latte' socks. The coffee socks are listed as one size (Standard Size – Fits: 3-7.5UK / 36-40EU) and they are true to size! AllureBath Fashion seem to have it all when it comes to bathrooms, I honestly nearly bought a big haul of bathmats until I remembered I have one coming for Christmas from my MIL, I have added this shop to my faves as they are offering amazing items for the home!

As well as fantastic items in general, Allure have a stunning Santa and Reindeer set of towels, and THIS hidden gem.

This set includes a guest towel and a hand towel with snowflakes on- both 100% cotton, both excellent quality and only £12 the set!? They are perfect as a gift or for when hosting friends and family.
 If you have guests staying over night it would be amazing to leave it on the bed for them- they just look such good quality, it made me feel like I own a hotel!

ComBossaStudio has a huge selection of stunningly designed Christmas card packs- I fell in love with these Nordic 'warm tones' cards, featuring animals and scenes that just radiate Hygge for me- the Christmas tree and Hot Chocolate cards are my favourite, but I love every single design. They are printed on good quality strong card stock with a bold, beautiful patterns in warm tones- plus, a charitable donation will be made to Fareshare UK from the sale of the cards.

You can get pure white or herbal white, you can even choose which shape tag is on it! From snowflake, tree to heart, you can get exactly the aesthetic you are after!

I really love these candle holders and can imagine either one of these gracing the dining room table on Christmas day.
The soaps have a beautiful smell and the fact that they all have beautiful colourful natural dried flowers is amazing!

The products are made by a wonderful community of people Mystical Glow are working with in Pakistan. Shop owner Ash says, “These skilled women are providing for their burgeoning families and are providing us with wonderful products too.” 

The items are aimed to introduce the world to the secret mineral hidden within the mountains of this far flung country. In the photos below you will see the best selling Bath salt tubes and gorgeous Mini-heart Bath Bombs, with a set of rose bath salts, perfect as a gift or for self care. These are not only the perfect gifts for Christmas, in my view, but they can be given for any occasion, they have a natural and earthy vibe with fresh salts and petals, etc. They can also be ordered as wedding favours! 

The pink Himalayan tea light candle holder is a favourite, so relaxing and I love the light it radiates. It has a hole cut deep enough so the flame is shown through the salt and as soon as I put it on I can feel myself relaxing, look out for it in the Spa Experience Box, which is new out, containing full size bath salts, candle and other amazing Himalayan salt theme items!

The Satin Scrunchies come individually or a pack of three, they are vegan friendly as the do not contain real silk, but are super soft and great for your hair- they are hand made by the team members in Pakistan. The listing is for a deep green, what I would call 'Champagne' (Gold-ish) and Black.

The Tiny Tin Candle Co offer a huge variety of 100% soy, vegan friendly candles- following on the coffee theme- this is the Espresso Martini with a rose gold tin. You can choose the colour of the tin, out of Rose gold, Gold and Silver- this size has a 23 hour burn time. 

Shop owner, Cassie writes, "Our Espresso Martini Candle scent is the perfect balance of sweet and rich, invigorating coffee. Ideal for brightening up the living room and kitchen."

I love the coffee beans in it and it smells amazing, it is not an overpowering smell and is very natural, smelling sweet and rich.
It comes in a very cute cardboard box- perfect for gifting. There is a larger option here, which is an 80 hour burn time or, you can even get a Coffee Lovers Gift Set which includes this candle, plus a Caramel Vanilla Latte candle, a bag of coffee beans and a cute match stick glass.
They do have a lot of different smells available and I highly recommend a good perusal of their shop!

Cascayde offer a variety of beautiful eco-friendly paper tape for your wrapping needs. With patterns such as a Christmas tree, reindeer, the words 'Merry Christmas' and more. They also do super cute tags with wild seeds in them so the receiver can plant them after!
I was able to test their reindeer tape and found it really easy to use, it is good quality and I love the design. With it's jumping reindeer design this tape embodies the festive spirit into my eco-conscious wrapping. I wrap my presents with brown paper, which can sometimes be a little dull when giving to kids, but I know they will love this. Wrapped around twice it looks fun and festive, or just using a piece for the gift tag can add some Christmas spirit. A few paper tapes I have tried before have not been sticky enough or have un-glued after time- this one is perfect, it gets the job done and stays stuck! Another great thing about it is that is a large roll, so it will last a good long while.
